These Terms & Conditions govern bookings and participation in courses, lessons, and services offered by ABSki Snowsports School (“the School”). By making a booking, you fully accept these terms.
- Bookings
1.1 Bookings can be made online, via e-mail, by phone, or directly at the School.
1.2 A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a written confirmation from the School.
1.3 The client is responsible for providing accurate information (skill level, age, special requirements).
- Payments
2.1 Payments must be made according to the methods indicated by the School.
- Prices
3.1 All prices are listed in local currency and include VAT unless otherwise stated.
3.2 The School reserves the right to update prices at any time. Confirmed bookings will retain the agreed price.
- Cancellations and Changes by the Client
4.1 Cancellations must be communicated in writing.
4.2 The following conditions apply unless otherwise agreed:
Up to 14 days prior: 100% refund.
14 to 7 days prior: 50% refund.
Less than 7 days prior: no refund.
4.3 Changes (time, number of participants, skill level, type of lesson) are subject to the School’s availability and may affect the price.
4.4 No refund is provided in case of late arrival or no-show.
- Cancellations or Changes by the School
5.1 The School may modify or cancel lessons for organizational reasons, adverse weather conditions, closure of facilities, or safety reasons.
5.2 In such cases, the School will offer an alternative (new date/time). If the client cannot accept the alternative, a proportional refund for the lessons not taken will be issued.
5.3 Refunds for bad weather are provided ONLY in the event of TOTAL closure of ski lifts. If even one slope is open, the lesson may still take place.
- Safety and Participant Responsibilities
6.1 All participants must follow the instructions of the instructors and safety regulations.
6.2 It is mandatory to arrive with suitable and well-maintained equipment. Helmets are strongly recommended (mandatory for minors according to current regulations).
6.3 The School may refuse participation to anyone who does not comply with safety rules, without refund.
- Skill Levels
7.1 The client is responsible for indicating the correct skill level.
7.2 In case of incorrect assessment affecting the proper conduct of the lesson, the School may modify the group or propose alternative solutions (price adjustment may apply).
- Liability
8.1 The School and instructors are not responsible for accidents, injuries, loss of property, or damage resulting from negligence, failure to follow instructions, or uncontrollable external conditions.
8.2 Snow activities carry inherent risks: by participating, the client acknowledges and accepts them.
8.3 It is recommended to have personal insurance covering accidents and liability.
- Minors
9.1 Lessons for minors require parental or legal guardian consent.
9.2 Parents must be reachable for the entire duration of the lesson.
- Lift Passes and Equipment
10.1 Lift passes, when required for the lesson, are not included in the price.
10.2 Equipment is not included and must be provided by the client before the lesson begins.
- Privacy
11.1 Personal data collected will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
11.2 The client consents to the use of their data for administrative and operational purposes related to the booked services.
- Photos and Videos
12.1 During lessons and activities, the School may take photos and videos for promotional purposes.
12.2 The client can request the removal of any content depicting them at any time, unless it has already been published.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
13.1 These terms are governed by Swiss law.
13.2 Any dispute will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the court where the School is located.
